Made reservations (two rooms) here to attend my father's funeral in Portsmouth. We chose this location because it was dog friendly and we've stayed in Super8 locations previously with no issue. We decided to forfeit our stay and go to another hotel due to safety and health concerns. First of all, our room was filthy. Beyond that, there was drug activity, “long term guests” residing there and police were called to the location about an hour after we checked in. We asked the police what was going on and told not to stay there for our own safety. We will be contacting Wyndham corporate to discuss the situation and circumstances behind our decision to leave the premises.

Total Ripoff. I've gave Super 8 information on how reservationcounter.com is hijacking Super 8 hotel by giving the online customer a area code 844 or 855 number which is a 3rd party website called Reservation Counter. Also, I saw a whole rap sheet on badbusinessbureau.com showing how Reservation Counter rip whoever is trying to set a Reservation to Super 8 in Portsmouth Ohio by changing the contact number from toll free 800 number to area code 844 or 855.

Friendely staff. Absolutley no one (staff or guests) wore a mask. No green space. Room was nice but I got an icky feeling everywhere else. Clearly no investment in this property. Won't be staying there again.

The bathroom floor was dirty upon arrival. No handicapped rooms available. My Mom is 82 and only five foot tall. We had to purchase a step stool for her to get on the bed. The small bathroom made it difficult to use her walker to hold her portable oxygen while she used the facilities. There was nowhere to set her oxygen, or even hang the portable concentrator. Pretty disappointed with this stay.

This was the so nice! They have a nice grassy area to walk our little dogs and they even invited them into the pool area. The breakfast was amazing with many delicious options. The staff was wonderful and attentive. The room was extremely clean. Everything was good!
