I came in to DC from New York for a gig during the Congressional Black Caucus. Though somehow the reservations department had booked me at "the wrong" Homewood (not the NW location that was walking distance from my commitments and offered an onsite restaurant which I requested) hotel manager Corey's graciously warm welcome when, road weary, we got to 501 New York Ave NE and his generous, kind and competent attention throughout our stay, made it the right place to be and to stay. I can't thank Corey enough for making us feel right at home and pampered and guided during our time in DC. And I noticed that he made each of the guests feel that wat. Quintessential hospitality! A million thaanks Corey!
