The Saginaw center is around the area of Saginaw Art Museum and the area of Saginaw Children's Zoo.

Saginaw, Michigan, is part of the Great Lakes Bay area. French missionaries and traders arrived there during the late 17th century, and the first permanent settlement was in 1816. Soon after, the United States built Fort Saginaw. It was abandoned by 1824 because of harsh conditions and illnesses, and fur traders were operating there by the late 1820s. The area became a city in 1857 and grew into a thriving lumber town and a hub for ship and railroad transportation. For most of the 20th century, many auto parts manufacturers were based in Saginaw. A plant even made guns for the military during World War II.

Saginaw has a variety of great hotels. You can stay at a luxury resort, get a good deal on a mid-range place, or maximize your savings at a budget hotel. With the right hotel, you can enjoy everything Saginaw has to offer. More from this guide...
