About us (including weaknesses - we'd rather tell you that in advance):Are you longing for an eventful short vacation? The Lüneburg Heath is the Mecca for the adventurous. Our ANDERS Hotel Walsrode is ideally located. Whether Weltvogelpark, Serengetipark or Heidepark, a trip to one of the numerous adventure and leisure parks nearby is a must. So off to the heath and on vacation!By the way: We don't have any elevators in the hotel, but we're happy to help you carry your luggage.The rooms:Our appealing double rooms (also alone or with an extra bed) have everything you can expect from a good hotel room. They have Wifi, radio, satellite TV, desk with seating and bathroom with shower.Please excuse us: You will not find any large rooms with us - but we have at least 22 square meters built into every hotel room for you. Enough for you alone, also for two. For families with 1 or 2 children it is really not very spacious. But your kids sleep very cheaply.The rooms do not have air conditioning.You will not find any wardrobes: you are welcome to leave your suit at home with us - we love it casual. Large luggage racks were more important to us than drawers and doors.Most of our beds are fairly firm. But pretty healthy! For those who like it softer: Ask about our cushions, which will also make your night heaven on earth. And we have a pillow menu for your best sleep.Our double beds are mostly "queen size". That means they are 160 cm wide and 200 cm long. We also have beds that are 180 cm or 2 x 90 cm wide, 200 cm wide and even up to 220 cm long... However, most of these rooms come at an additional cost. But incl. rental bathrobe, additional pillows, mattress topper and a bottle of water free of charge. The other snacks and drinks in the room (there is no refrigerator there) are subject to a charge. Chilled drinks are available in the foyer - also for a fee.For catering:An appetizing and stimulating gastronomy concept with proven and new ideas for enjoyment. Always individual and original. That is different.The rich breakfast buffet offers a great start to the day with cold and warm delicacies. Feel free to tell us: What are you still missing from the best breakfast buffet in the region?We serve dinner as a varied 3-course menu or buffet.Our hotel has two parts of the building. Our restaurant is opposite the hotel - sorry - you have to walk around 200 steps! In return, we will spoil you with the best, clean air on the way. If the North German bad weather is seldom possible, we will lend you an umbrella for the way. The food is very tasty and the friendly staff and great drinks - that will definitely make you happy.Freetime and recreation:First of all: We are NOT a wellness hotel. Nevertheless, we offer a small, fine sauna in our "dream room" lounge including a relaxation area and adventure shower.We don't have a swimming pool. sorry - With us, nature, green & fresh air is the offered wellness. The bathrobe is available for a small cleaning fee. It is even included in our Superior Plus rooms.In the Tietlingen, Soltau and Verden golf clubs you can show the balls who owns the golf club.If you really want to work out, you can visit the Fitness World Walsrode gym opposite.Of course, our hotel is particularly popular with cyclists and hikers.If you prefer the shopping marathon, you will find everything your heart desires on the extensive shopping streets in Hamburg, Bremen, Hanover and Celle.Directions and surroundings:Thanks to the good transport links to the A7 and A27, we are easy to find. A road leads to and past our hotel. That is suboptimal - at least at night with the window open. But that's a big advantage, because it's so easy to come to us.Traveling directly to the ANDERS Hotel Walsrode by public transport is not that easy: the train station is 1.5 km away, buses do not go directly here. Taxi stand at the train. Traveling by train is inexpensive and environmentally friendly. Book with our DB ticket for the conference, there is a link on our homepage.Our hotel is only 2 km from downtown Walsrode; that's about a 15-minute walk. And we are in a commercial area. However .... almost the most beautiful commercial area that we know!We charge a parking fee for using our car park. Please find more information under the details to parking possibilities.
