As a frequent traveler with a strong preference for Marriott properties, I had high expectations for the Logan Hilton Curio Collection during my recent stay in Philadelphia for the Hot Chocolate 10K. Unfortunately, several aspects of the experience fell short of the standards I typically encounter. Upon check in, I noticed that the in room amenities had not been fully restocked—specifically, coffee, creamer and related supplies were either missing or insufficient. While this may seem minor, these basics are expected to be ready, especially at a property of this caliber. We also dined at the hotel's Urban Farmer restaurant for Sunday brunch. While the ambiance was inviting, the service was unacceptably slow. We waited over 40 minutes just to place our order after being seated, with little communication or attentiveness from the staff. The most frustrating aspect of our stay was the disorganized valet and parking situation. At checkout, it took nearly an hour to retrieve our vehicle—an inefficient process that left many guests visibly frustrated. For a centrally located property with a high guest volume, a more streamlined and guest focused parking operation is essential. The location itself is convenient for city events and the property has potential, but the execution in service and operations needs refinement to meet the expectations of seasoned travelers.

My only suggestions are that you need more staff on board at check in time and manning the phones. We gave up trying to call for any reason because the hold times were so long and we went down to the front desk directly to make any requests.
