Hotel de Zwaan, established in 1623. Until now the main focus is still the hotel. Even during the 2nd world war, when Venray suffered heavy damages, she remained standing. De Zwaan was a place to rest when travelers had to make the dangerous cross through the “Peel”. This is an area with swamps and fens. In Holland many hotels are named “de Zwaan”, reason being that it used to indicate that there were girls available in the hotel. They were often called “de Zwaantjes” .You can pay our Brasserie a visit to strengthen yourself. It holds an atmosphere full of ambiance and enjoyment, whether you're alone or with several people, our contemporary menu offers you a wide variety of choices as well as the exquisite quality of the offered dish . You will find an excellent ratio between price and quality. It is possible to dine in our Brasserie with groups.
