Ambience and service was very old school and genteel (chef visited with us at our table). Room was large with comfortable bed. Sitting around inner balcony in the evening with a glass of wine was awesome felt like Daisy and Gatsby or Tom could descend the stairs at any time.

I booked this hotel as an alternative to the routine roadside motel. It was very nicely restored and we loved the big room. Baker City was a nice discovery as well. Only thing I'd suggest is a real coffee maker in the room. Instant coffee I have not seen in a place of this caliber.

Fresh brewed coffee is available after 6am in the restaurant as well. Our guests have a wide range of needs and it is impossible to make everyone happy, but our staff works diligently to offer the best experience possible!

This was our favorite hotel of our trip. We ate a delicious dinner at a restaurant nearby. Slept in a cozy, comfortable bed, the A/C was excellent (cooled the room but wasn't too loud), bathroom facilities were clean and well done. We chose to have breakfast on site out on the sidewalk with a view of snow capped mountains. Yummy! Staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back!
