The lobby smelled like urine, it was dirty, the police were onsite for some reason and the clerk tried to get extra money from us even though our receipt showed we'd already paid in advance. One of the guests told us “things” were always happening there. We refused to hand over the extra money and asked for a refund, which the clerk refused to do. We never stayed and contacted Red Roof “customer support” — they refused our refund. We will never use Red Roof again.

Customer service is lacking any kind of empathy or professionalism. The room was Okay but I will not be going back there. Customer service was just horrible. Communication wasn't there. The whole interaction with customer service was very uninviting.
