The view was superb! Our room as ok. We knew it was old so weren't expecting a whole lot. But, we were so hot at night. The fan was for decoration. It didnt work. Breakfast at 9:00 was lacking most foods. The regular coffee was empty; the decaf was cold. There was no place to sit. We stood on the balcony. We didn't go down the next am. The receptionist when we checked in was very nice and helpful. We came, we saw and probably won't be back anytime soon.

"BAIT AND SWITCH."

We called in for a reservation referencing your web site and a King room with balcony which showed $107.00. After giving our information to the hotel rep we were told the $107 special was sold out and the price would be $159. We went ahead with the reservation expecting to see a full hotel when we stayed overnight and to our surprise at best the hotel l;ooked like it was maybe 20% booked. Maybe 15 cars in then lot and we saw three people the next morning at breakfast. The price shown on your web site should be the price you charge, being your responsibility to keep your sight current if you plan on ending room specials. The correct thing to do here would be to refund us the difference that we paid! This episode should be reported to the authorities!

You can also catch a glimpse of the town's iconic landmark, the Astoria–Megler Bridge, which runs for 4 miles along the horizon and connects Oregon to Washington state. Just outside the Astoria Riverwalk Inn, rental bicycles are available to explore the grounds and surrounding area. You can also hop aboard the historic Astoria Riverfront Trolley for a ride to the town's many attractions. Included with this Getaway are passes to the town's history-laden Heritage Museum, as well as the Flavel House, an 1885 Queen Anne–style Victorian home. The mansion has been returned to its original splendor, with period furnishings and a restored three-story octagonal tower.
