The rooms are all renovated, very nicely done and very spacious. Easily the largest rooms we've had at any Embassy Suites property. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic. The one negative I have. and it's a big one. is the elevator system in this hotel are ridiculous. We waited an average of 30 minutes on the weekend for an elevator. The evening we arrived, it was over 40 minutes to get an elevator. The elevators themselves are very small. If you have a luggage cart you might get three four people in. The system is that you put your floor number into a keypad screen and you're assigned an elevator (A B or C) When that elevator comes, make sure to check that your floor number is listed or it won't stop on your floor. Twice our assigned elevator didn't have our flr listed when it arrived and we had to do the whole thing again and wait for another one. There are no buttons inside the elevator. Because of the ridiculousness of the elevator system, I would hesitate to stay here again. I'm a Hilton Honors member and we almost always stay at Hilton brands on city stays. No matter how convenient this location is for us, it's not worth the aggravation of having to factor in 30+ minutes when coming or going on Fri evening through Sunday just to allot for elevator wait times. The only other negative is the TGI Friday's attached to the hotel. Service was pretty bad and the restaurant itself is in need of a facelift and a good scrub down. But, there are plenty of other options within a few blocks, much better than TGIF, so that's not a deal breaker.

My stay was overall a very good experience. All of the staff were very friendly and always helpful. I do think the rooms need new carpet. For the cost of the room to see holes and tears not repaired in the carpet was unacceptable. I paid for my room service costs the night before I checked out and declined a receipt, but got a notice the next morning that I still owed. It took a phone call from Oregon two days later to get someone to erase this fee which was very nice.

The Embassy Suites is the perfect hotel for visitors to the City of Brotherly Love.Located on historic Logan Square at the base of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway the Embassy Suites Hotel Center City is steps away from Philadelphia's world class museums, multinational business centers, multi ethnic dining and Center City's vibrant night life. We are also conveniently located to the Olde City historic and gallery district, Rittenhouse Row shopping district, South Street, Manayunk and the Delaware River waterfront. Philadelphia's many neighborhoods and the South Philadelphia sports and entertainment complex, home to the Phillies, Flyers, Eagles and 76ers, are easily accessible by public transportation or a short cab ride. The Embassy Suites Philadelphia is truly in the center of it all. The Embassy Suites Philadelphia – Center City is six (6) blocks from the Pennsylvania Convention Center.But that's not all, unlike a regular hotel, when you stay at the Embassy Suites you and your guests will stay in a spacious two room suite equipped with a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker with coffee and tea. Your suite will have amenities like hair dryer, iron and ironing board, two remote control TVs with free HBO and pay per view movies. Wireless High Speed Internet Access is available in all suites and in the hotel's public areas. (Charge).Hotel features include a fitness center, business center and a coin operated guest laundry. In June of 2008 we completed a $10.2 million upgrade of all of our suites that included expansion of the fitness center, a new business center and the addition of a 24 hour gift shop in the hotel lobby.
