Congrats and thanks to Brandy for arranging our ARCCA/ATA Employee Reunion at the Indy Airport Wyndham. All went well but the dogs did bring a "smell" to the whole thing. The dogs were fine, the dogs owners fine, but the smell was not pleasant in the halls. It would have been nice if one of the hotel employees had been assigned to spray some nice carpet deodorant a couple times each day. By the second day it was becoming a bit strong. Again, the dogs were never the issue, only the smell. The Brickyard event on the 4th was very well handled by the bartenders and catering staff. Cudo's to all involved. The Dinner and rooms on the 5th were well done. All the food on the buffet was "Excellent" and the staff could not have been more helpful. We had no complaints on the rooms and the room serving as our Hospitality needs was very nice and welcoming. I gave an average rating, only because the hotel needs updating, particularly on the exterior. This is our third reunion here, starting back in 2014 and nothing has been done to the exterior to make it more welcoming. Instead, it gives initial vibes about what kind of stay is this going to be! SO, a little TLC for the exterior of the Wyndham is needed. Mike Doades, Host for the event October four 6.

"Old musty room"

Overall not a bad hotel, our room just needed updates. The lobby area and ballroom/conference areas are nice. We had a hotel room with a conference table and Murphy bed and it was just really musty and old. The casings around the windows were really gross and needed to be replaced. Staff were attentive and accommodating.

•Low flow shower heads•Programmable thermostats•Linen reuse program•Recycling program for paper, cardboard, plastic and aluminum in all parts of hotel•Addition of recycle containers to all public meeting space•Staff turns off lights and HVAC when meeting spaces are not in use•Clients may request recycling containers for meetings•We use reusable cutlery, dishware, glassware and linens for all functions at no additional fee•Use locally grown produce and organic foods when possible•We replaced all public space and meeting room lights to 100% LED’s•50% of all wallpaper used in the renovation is: RECORE RECYCLED WALL TECHNOLOGY – 10% recycled Polyester/20% recycled Vinyl•All public restrooms have been switched to automatic water and soap dispensers•Coffee to-go cups are made from 10% post-consumer recycled materials•To-go sleeves are made from 85% post-consumer recycled materials•All to-go and Café napkins are made from 30% post-consumer recycled materials•All public and guest room paper products are made from 20% post-consumer recycled materials•We converted our in-house Laundry to Ozone in November, reducing our overall expense. But what it really does is reduce chemicals in use and provides a FDA approved cleanliness factor that is required by hospitals.•Installed 2- 4 ton hot water boilers for the hotel to reduce gas usage•Replaced all outside glass doors to both of our conference center entrances. The new doors are energy efficient and highly rated for both high and low temperatures.
