"Over The Top Accommodations!"

Over the top accommodations! Second cross country trip. On the road over a month. West Coast to East Coast. On this trip we focused on the South. Our last stop, Memphis TN. Our room gave the feel of a mini lodge stay. We chose a room with a balcony that overlooked the entire inside of the store. This store offers something for everyone not only the outdoorsman. Great family outing for the kids. Bowling alleys, shooting ranges. Eateries to suit both the young and adults. Most impressive views, skyline of Memphis and the Mississippi. Most definitely going to return on our next road trip! Well worth the expense.

Property Description

Big Cypress Lodge is a 103 room rustic retreat, made up of duck lodges, tree house suites and a Governor's Suite. It offers meeting rooms, breakout spaces, dining options and a 24-hour fitness center. What truly makes this overnight experience unique, however, is that it is tucked inside the Bass Pro Shop's Memphis Pyramid. Each room offers a screened in porch that overlooks the swamp, containing 100-foot tall trees, alligators and 36 varieties of fish, or a view of Memphis.The pyramid is 535,000 square feet under one roof and is larger than a full city block. Standing at 313 feet and six inches, it is one of the largest retail spaces in the world. It holds the largest freestanding elevator in America; it is 28 stories tall and is open on all 4 sides. Your dining options are also nothing short of extraordinary. Take a ride to the top of the pyramid and experience the 360-degree views of Memphis in The Lookout at the Pyramid. Indulge in a menu of delicious appetizers and unique drinks while taking in the unique steam punk style atmosphere. For a more action packed dining experience, enjoy a variety of appetizers, burgers, and salads at Uncle Buck's Fish Bowl!Throughout the store you can enjoy a variety of activities like glass floor observation decks 300' feet in the air. You can practice your shooting skills at the 25-yard live fire pistol range or 25-yard live fire archery range.
