Dikker and Henri Thijs started inhabiting this building in 1921 as a shop selling lobsters, oysters and caviar. It was renovated in 2001, together with the adjacent 18th century warehouse, and now houses the Dikker and Thijs Fenice Hotel in Amsterdam.This elegant hotel has the perfect atmosphere for a peaceful get-away. It furthermore has a cosy bar where an extensive selection of drinks is served and guests can unwind after a busy day in the vibrant city of Amsterdam.
