"Murphy's Law"

Ah, where to begin. The last words I made to the person checking me in were: Please a quiet room" THe first night at 2am the people in the room next to mine, got loud. So loud, I couldn't sleep. At 2:38 on my third try, I called the front desk. The guy said "I'll get right on it." It worked for about 40 minutes, then picked up again continued for the next hour. In the morning, I went to the desk and said, "If the women next door are not checking out tonight. Move me. Which they did. The next night was quiet. In the morning the coffee maker didn't work, so I went downstairs to bring some up. But my key didn't work. Back downstairs I go and the guy redid the keys. Back upstairs, the new key didn't work again. Back downstairs I go. The guy comes up with me, tries his pass key and door still doesn't open. I remain standing outside my door for the next 15 30 minutes while the guy uses a bent metal rod, trying to stuff it under the door; nope doesn't work again. He says I got the wrong size. Time passes. When he returns, I tell him I can't watch this high tech any longer and, besides the way I'm hardly dressed, I'll go eat breakfast. I tell him when you get the door open, come find me. Which he does. So, my trip to go down and get coffee took about an hour. Thank God I didn't have a place I had to be. The final night was quiet, THe coffee maching didn't work again, nor did one of the TV remotes. The maid was nice enough to get me a fresh towel. Why you would ever install a locking device with a battery which us unassesable, is beyond me.
