Close by is the Kennet & Avon Canal and the astonishing Caen Hill Locks are within walking distance as are the attractions and facilities of Devizes. Property Description
The multi, award-winning Avalon Lodge B&B is more than just a place to stay.
Receive a warm welcome at this detached house which is spacious, comfortable and modern set in large gardens on the outskirts of Rowde, a mile from the historic, market town of Devizes, Wiltshire. We are ideally located for all the wonderful Wiltshire attractions and only 40 minutes from Bath and 1 hour to Bristol. Oxford and London are within easy reach with good access to the motorway network.
Whether you are working, touring, walking, cycling or looking for a relaxing break, you are assured of a very warm welcome and a comfortable stay. The property has four, stylish double rooms, all with king-sized beds, luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets, large fluffy towels and bathrobes with good sized en-suite facilities. Meanwhile, whilst you stay you can charge for free your electric car or bike.
Three of the four rooms have south-facing balconies with views over the surrounding countryside. One of the rooms has an adjoining single bedroom and in the main room, the bed can be split to make two singles so good for groups of three.
There is a flat-screen colour TV with DVD player in each room, a silent fridge with fresh milk, chilled water and drink making facilities & snacks. In addition, the exclusive guest lounge contains local information, books and maps, etc., as well as novels and games and free Wi-Fi. Our renowned breakfast is served in the garden or dining room, depending on the time of year, overlooking the countryside and views of our two rescue donkeys!
Add ample car parking, a large rear garden for use by guests, although it may be shared with the free-range chickens and ducks, walking distance of three Public Houses, serving good food as well as the renowned Rowdey Cow Farm Café and Ice Cream parlour, etc.

We look to recycle, have water tubs, glass water bottles, grow our own tomatoes, keep hens and ducks for our own eggs
