I have never had an experience when asking for extra bedding the response is “everything is dirty” or already thin scarce towels one set there is actually a note that they only replace towels and bedding every three days. Going green??? At a loss. Thank goodness I only had to stay a day. Survived but that's it!

I called the morning I was to arrive to confirm my room and was told it was a smoking room with one bed. The hotel site never asked if smoking or non smoking mattered, which it does and it should have been two beds. To the staff's credit, the fellow I spoke with cheerfully switched me to a non smoking room with two beds. When I checked in, the fire alarm in the room was beeping every 90 seconds. A call to the front desk started with replacing the battery and when that didn't solve the problem, I was given another room, conveniently next door. Staff was very pleasant and appologetic and was helpful getting a suitable room assigned quickly. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. However, the rooms are showing some wear and tear. The sink and counter was heavily scratched and flooring in the bathroom didn't cleanly meet the wall near the doorway. Breakfast offered fresh waffles, yogurt, Danishes, cereal and juices. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked.

As you may have surmised, this place was unclean. Shower with used soap and stains. Toilette with scum under the rim. Sheets wrinkled, looking unclean.

The location is fantastically convenient for getting on and off Hwy 101. Cheerful blooming flowers around the clean pool. Helpful and friendly staff. Very economical. I'd stay there again.
