I walked in, smelled like mildew, cancelled my reservation and went to a better hotel. This place is old, run down and totally disgusting. I can't believe that there is NO ONE around to beautify this small hotel. Needs MUCH attention to bring up to par in order to compare to the new hotels in the area. Get with it people and clean this place up!

Very pleasant people at desk. The place isn't perfect but the rooms were clean and it appears that there are new owners and it looks like they are trying to fix it up.

The Econo Lodge hotel in Alachua, FL is an easy stop on the road. Our hotel is an easy stop off Interstate 75 and U.S. Highway 441 near attractions such as the University of Florida, Ichetucknee Springs State Park, Ginnie Springs Outdoors Freshwater Springs, Poe Springs Park and Rum Island Park. Amenities include free Easy Starts continental breakfast, free WiFi, an outdoor pool, copy and fax machine and free coffee. Rooms include refrigerators, microwaves, TVs and coffee makers. Also, earn rewards including free nights and gift cards with our Choice Privileges Rewards program. Pet charge: 10.00 USD per night. Pet limit: 2 pets per room.
