Local Attractions

We are on a cliff edge all alone over looking the Fogarty Creek State Park Beach. Within a few minutes, however, is the cute little town of Depoe Bay with shops, restaurants, a whale watching center, boat trips, and the smallest harbor in the world! Newport is about 15 minutes away, with more attractions including the Aquarium, Ripley's Believe It or Not, and The Wax Museum. On the way don't miss Cape Foul Weather, Boiler Bay and the Devil's Punch bowl. Lincoln City is about 10 minutes the other direction with the bay area great for drift wood, sea lions, agates and crabbing. Chinook Winds Casino is on the far side of town and often has concerts and other entertainment. Devil's Lake has a place to rent canoes, paddle boards, paddle boats, jet skis and more. If you ever tire of the ocean views, there are many hiking trails. One of the best is Drift Creek Falls which leads to a 200 foot suspension bridge and a beautiful waterfall you can walk down to the bottom of.

Ocean front rooms with breath taking views, delicious food, a full bar and whale watching nearly year round is all a part of the affordable experience at the Clarion Inn Surfrider Resort in Depoe Bay, OR. We are near Fogarty Creek State Park, Tanger Outlets, Chinook Winds Casino, Drift Creek Falls, Devil's Punchbowl and the Whale Watching Center. You can enjoy such amenities as free WiFi, free ample parking, restaurant, bar, business and fitness centers, laundry facilities, indoor heated pool, sauna, hot tub and a beach access that takes you down to tide pools and a great area for agate hunting or a beach fire. Guest rooms feature a coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, and flat-screen TV. Rooms with fireplaces and in bath jetted tubs are also available as well as family suites. Pet friendly options are available with a limit of 2- 50 LB dogs per room. A pet fee of 10.00 per night per dog is applied. We provide banquet services either in a private dining room or our banquet room. The banquet room seats 100 people. Specialty menus are designed to fit your budget. The room is bookable as a meeting room for private events. Also, earn rewards including free nights and gift cards with our Choice Privileges Rewards program.
