The front staff was cordial and attentive. They even accommodated my request for a first floor room, rooms were clean, housekeeping was consistent. Loved their texas shaped waffles. Over all a pleasant stay.

"Unprofessional, unaccommodating, lacking basic/necessary items. Overall very upsetting/disappointing"
Overall Score1.0/ 5
This hotel experience was absolutely awful. We were told check-in started at 3pm, so we arrived a few minutes after the hour only to be told that there was not a room ready for us and we would need to wait "a few minutes" to have the staff finish cleaning them all. After sitting in the lobby for 45+ minutes along with many other guests in the same situation, we finally received a room assignment. When we got to our room, it had a musky and mildew smell that was quite nauseating and seemed to reflect a consistently poorly cleaned room. There were no Kleenex in the restroom and the shower walls had many marks and scuffs that deterred us from showering while staying at this hotel. We also noticed the lack of a microwave or refrigerator in the room, which was quite a let down when we brought left over food to our room expecting to be able to eat it for dinner and instead watching it spoil sitting on the counter. We were in need of a water bottle and we read in the hotel handbook that ice and vending machines could be found on the first floor. After following the "ice and vending machine" signs on the first floor and walking around to multiple different buildings, we realized that vending machines were not available and only ice machines were where the handbook and the signs said that they would be. Another disappointing discovery. Finally, one of the two people staying in our room woke up extremely ill with a very high fever, so I called the front desk to see if we could have a late check-out and I was told there could be no late check-outs for the weekend, no exceptions. This was quite upsetting seeing that we had paid for the room, gotten in approximately 1 hour after we should have been, and then we were told we could not even have a late check-out even with the unexpected situation of someone getting sick. We will no longer be choosing any Quality Inn Hotels from here on out and will be warning our friends and family of this awful experience as well. Overall, it was a very upsetting and disappointing experience.
