First impressions count and the friendly, helpful receptionist (Kathleen Macnicol) who explained and smoothly sorted an online booking miscommunication was first class. Young server in the Executive Lounge also cheery and helpful. On returning from a concert at the Armadillo the queue for the two front working lifts was very long but another front of staff member directed some of us to a back area where there was another lift we could utilize. I didn't have dinner or drinks in the bar but enjoyed a good breakfast. The Crowne Plaza is the perfect base for concert going on the campus. I have stayed here several times in the past but this was my first as a solo traveler and I felt very comfortable and secure here.
