The hotel staff were very friendly however the room I stayed in was very disappointing. The bathroom had holes in the wall. Some of the furniture was damaged along with the door handles and lamp bases being rusted. The bathroom smelled like mildew. In the hallway of hotel the carpets were incredibly dirty. I have stayed at other Holiday Inn Expresses that were so nice. This Holiday Inn Express was very disappointing.

old, warn furniture,soiled carpet; toilet too low; dingy in appearance. Housekeeping excellent! Breakfast delicious! Requested at front desk to clean my room and that evening, when returned to room, bed was unmade, no towels or cloths had to go to front desk and ask for replacements. The morning front desk did not relay my request to Housekeeping. One of the worse Holiday Inns I have stayed in. Even my family, when they came to pick me up asked, "Why are you staying in such a terrible place, Mom?".

This hotel needs a refresh. The A/C in my room would cycle on and off every 30 seconds or so and wouldn't turn off so I unplugged it. This is Okay in the winter, but wouldn't be an option in the summer. Staff was friendly and responsive but the hotel needs some work.
