The Publick House Historic Inn and Country Motor Lodge is situated at the crossroads of New England on 60 acres of countryside, minutes from I-90 and I-84. Bult in 1771, the Publick House maintains its 18th century ambiance while providing 21st century comforts. All twenty three rooms in the Inn and Chamberlain House are decorated with period furnishings and offer private baths. The Country Motor Lodge's nintey six guestrooms overlook the outdoor pool, tennis courts and apple orchard. Dine where Col. Ebeneezer Crafts entertained his revolutionary troops in the mid 1700's. Traditional New England far continues to be served in authentic dining rooms at the inn. After 230 years, classic favorites have been given a modern twist. Lighter fare is available at the Ebeneezer's Tavern. The Bake Shoppe offers something for every taste. Crunchy, flaky, sweet, tart, sticky, wholesome, tempting and all freshly baked at the Publick House. We have the perfect fit for any corporate function, family gathering or group in our twelve meeting rooms. The Publick Houe can accomoodate groups of 2-250.
