When I booked the room in Feb for a concert at the Iowa Fair in August I wanted two things, a room and shuttle service to the Fair. I asked for the shuttle service and the person I spoke to said they were not sure if they are offering that service but they are talking about it. So I said if no service then I will look for a different hotel. He asked if I would wait and he would check to see if a decision has been made. I said yes and he put me on hold. Then he came back and said yes it will be available. I then asked for the time the service will be offered as the concert will be over late and he said it will be available. So I told him I would take the room and to ensure the shuttle service was a part of the deal I had him place that I require the shuttle service. Which he did and it was placed on my reservation. Little did I know it was a lie. August comes and I reserve another room as we had another guest. We check in and get ready to head to the fair and asked for the shuttle service. They said we don't offer this service. I told them the conversation and showed them it was written in my reservation. However, him knowing it was a lie only wrote Requires Shuttle Service, as they do offer shuttle service to the airport. I believing them as it is the Hilton, didn't think it had to be spelled out Shuttle service to the fair. They stated we would never say that, we don't offer this service who did you speak with? I don't know. Isn't there a recording of the call! Needless to say they took my money since I already checked in. I made the mistake of thinking the it was a reputable hotel who stood by their word. They're not! Whether it was someone from the hotel or the call service I don't know but they should stand by their word. They LIED for my money. I will never stay at a Hilton again!

Very nice room super clean and comfortable. The beds were nice and firm and room temperature very comfortable. Check in was prompt and breakfast at the cafe was very good with good service.
