The Grand Hyatt Kauai exceeded all expectations for a family vacation. They seem to have thought of everything and while it comes at a price, I like how I don't feel nickle and dimed the entire trip with add ons. So many complimentary activities and services included in our stay. And the pool is out of this world. My kids (age 7 and 10) were the perfect ages. They even had food on the menu that my neurodivergent son would eat (which believe me, is a rare find). By far the best hotel pool experience and I don't think anywhere else will ever compare. So thanks Hyatt for ruining all other hotel experiences for me. You're just too good. We will be back hopefully many times in my life time.
Spa was superb. Hotel is a little dated. Lots of conventions stayed there. Great pools.
Great for a family vacation. Nice rooms, excellent food both in quality and variety of options. Superb pool setup for old and young, from salt water pool, to lazy river and other freshwater pools and waterslide. Great beach access. Excellent location for island adventures, east, west and north.
