"Not crazy about doors and outdoor hallway to my room, got soaked bringing luggage in."

I was not crazy about the hall to Canapy room I stayed in. The doors were to narrow for the clothes cart. I got soaked and wet taking the cart to my room. I'm waiting and watching my credit card statement to make sure I wasn't double billed for my room. I had prepaid and was asked to supply my credit card again to check out.

Merritt needs to update its online information which is sometimes wrong or misleading. Online info presented to me said there was a free shuttle from the HSV airport to the hotel. There was not. Room door lock malfunction locked me out of my room.

On the premises of the Space and Rocket Center. Around the corner from Botanical Garden and easily accessible to airport. Season's Restaurant serving a la carte and breakfast buffet daily. The Great Room serves lunch, appetizers and dinner including a wide variety of beer, wines and mixed drinks. Indoor/Outdoor pool, walking trail. 292 guest rooms, 7 floors including concierge level.
