Most attractions( Bud Gardens,Bars,Restaurants,etc) were within walking distance of the DoubleTree (although in winter time you would likely want to cab) and those other places that were not quite close enough to walk (Western Fairgrounds) were only a cheap cab ride away!

Took the kids to Storybook Gardens which they enjoyed and did plenty of shopping. The city also offer lots of choices for food.
