The Caledonian Hotel is a stylish 3 star boutique hotel situated in the heart of Jesmond which fosters a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The area boasts many bars, restaurants and cafes and is one of the local areas for nightlife. The Caledonian is a perfectly placed for easy access to both the city centre which is just a fifteen minute walk away and is also only a five minute walk from the local Metro station, which links to the entire Tyneside transport network . Being just outside of the city centre the hotel offers easy and stress free access to the A1 north and south. Visitor attractions include many art galleries and the Roman wall and associated historic sites or there is Europe's biggest shopping and leisure centre The Metro Centre all within easy reach either by car or public transport. The hotel is warm and welcoming offering comfortable and spacious standard ensuite rooms and for those who wish to upgrade we have our newly refurbished executive rooms which offer greater space and that touch of luxury. The 14 new executive rooms join our other newly refurbished ground floor giving us a total of 19 executive rooms, there are also 5 suites available the biggest being the Jesmond suite which offers a spacious bedroom and bathroom with separate lounge and dining area.
