Property Description
Located alongside York's historic walls with views of York Minster, Yorkshires only 5 star hotel Grand Hotel and Spa York offers the ultimate in luxury. The hotel features 207 extraordinary elegant and spacious rooms, restaurant and 2 bars, 8 meetings and events spaces, state-of-the-art Cookery School and a spa. The Grand was built in 1906 as a 'Palace of Business' for one of the most powerful railway companies in Edwardian England. The hotel is situated near the train station, next to the ancient walls that enclose the city centre and with views of York Minster.
