The hotel has a very central location, five mins walk to bus station, train station, bus stop to the airport. The room was rather basic, but comfortable. I slept well. The staff at the reception desk was very kind and helpful.

Built in 1848 at the height of the Victorian era the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel is one of Aberdeens oldest hotels. Being a listed building makes it a much loved and well appointed Landmark in the city centre. Privately owned; this contemporary style hotel offers a warm and welcoming environment. Centrally located with the Train and Bus station just a minutes stroll away. With 98 rooms and 31 serviced apartments; conference facilities for up to 400 person and bistro.
