We would rate this property a ZERO out of 10. The reception was poor. person did not know what our room rate was at check in. AND most important to note. the property was littered old used tires, a broken down car sitting on cinder blocks and tire rim, snow plow that does not belong to property, bikes and motor bike covered near pool (have photos evidence), shopping carts on the walk and trash dumpsters sitting on walkways. Is this a hotel or motel? Having traveled around the country and the world for over 30 years, this property resembled a section 8 property that was receiving payments directly from state for it's tenants. I have seen safer housing accommodation in the old EASTERN block of USSR and in ASIAN region. This property is not safe and littered with trash. We did not stay based on these issues mentioned. I would request that it be taken off your list of properties as this is NOT a safe, secure hotel. Respectfully the Herschberger's.

Located off Exit 6 of Interstate 84 on 17K East 2 Miles. We have entrances on Union Avenue/Rt 300 and off 17K. Guests are provided with a FREE Buffet Breakfast each morning from 6AM to 9AM. Pets are Welcome with a nonrefundable daily fee. We have plenty of parking with extra room for buses.The hotel has 120 rooms with the majority Double-bed types. Please ask about Suites.The Knights Inn Newburgh is close to the US Military Academy at West Point, Brotherhood Winery, Woodbury Common Shopping Center, and the Newburgh Waterfront. Local restaurants include 5 Guys, Fridays, Chilis, Dennys, and more. Stay to visit these Hudson Valley sites. Experience Adams Fairacre Farms, Orange County Choppers, or "The Pride of the Hudson" on a Hudson River Adventures cruise. The Knights Inn Newburgh welcomes all groups and can provide Catering needs. We have 5 meeting rooms with a total of 3000 Square Feet. Let us work with you to set up a successful meeting or party. Doolittles Bar and Restaurant opens daily at 5PM for your relaxation. The restaurant facility and dancefloor is also availble for meeting or party needs.
