Property description

The New Bath Hotel and Spa is a magnificent 18th century property set within 5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Situated in Matlock Bath, Derbyshire, the hotel borders the Peak District National Park and overlooks the breath taking Derwent Gorge. The hotel is currently undergoing a multi-million-pound renovation project and will reopen in the summer of 2016 as a 4 star deluxe property. We have 54 individually designed bedrooms many with unique views of the Derwent Valley and Tor. Our rooms range from standard through to Executive and include 12 family rooms. All rooms have complimentary high speed WiFi. 'Sourced', the hotel's contemporary restaurant serves the finest sustainably sourced produce from around Derbyshire in a pan-European menu complemented by an international wine list that offers many of the wines by the glass. The Spa by ESPA offers guests a wide range of leading treatments and therapies across three modern treatment rooms, which includes a couple room. Guests are able to unwind in the relaxation lounge or can enjoy the spa's outdoor hot tub or steam room and sauna. There is a 15 metre indoor pool which is supplied by thermally heated spring water. The hotel has a 140 cover ballroom with natural daylight which is ideal for any event and opens onto a private landscaped garden. The ball room is complemented by two private rooms both of which have an abundance of natural daylight and overlook our private garden.
