Green Sustainability
The hotel and convention center are connected, and public transportation is available if needed. The hotel will implement a towel and sheet reuse program, as well as providing recycling in common spaces and recycling of commercial waste. The Sioux City Convention Center currently recycles as much as possible, see the survey for a full list of materials. Meal function green initiatives include reusable dinnerware, cutlery and napkins to reduce water use and minimize waste. The City also implemented a separate glass recycling program through Ripple Glass out of Kansas City, the program has resulted in over 100 tons of glass being recycled since the program began in January of 2017.

Local Shuttle Info: Shuttle Service available in March of 2020 when Courtyard is open.
The downtown trolley makes stops every 15-20 minutes at shopping and entertainment areas around downtown. Stops include areas such as the Historic 4th Street District, the Promenade Cinema 14/Convention Center, the Downtown Center, the Orpheum Theatre, the Pearl District, the Tyson Events Center and the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City.
The Trolley will run on Friday and Saturday evenings from 7PM-12AM from June 1 through September 30. From October 1 through January 1, the trolley will run on Saturdays only from 7PM-12AM. The goal of the Trolley is to help comfortably connect residents and visitors to destinations throughout Downtown Sioux City at no charge to the passenger. The trolley is operated by TravelPlus.
It is FREE to ride, so park your car, hop on and enjoy your time in Downtown Sioux City!
