Owners were cordial, though somewhat difficult to understand. We were disappointed by the following: obviously stained sheets, towels and shower curtain; mold in the shower; water from shower, sink and toilet was brown; courtesy shampoo bottle half empty (had someone else used it?) only three very small pillows on the king sized bed; broken knobs on the window air conditioner; hair dryer wall mount fell out of the wall. All of this was especially frustrating because we paid $135 for the night! When we requested a receipt in the morning, the owner printed one but it showed a payment of $110. As we were about to drive away, the owner ran out to our car and took the receipt away, saying it wasn't right. He seemed confused about who we should pay and how much the room actually cost. We attempted to get the receipt back but he refused to give it to us. We may attempt to get a refund. The only reason we stayed the night was that all other hotels were booked due to a recent storm that knocked out power to the area.
