I have been staying at the Cleveland Tru for years but after my recent stay on Jan 30/31st, I was met with a bill that was 60% more than the room price. It was listed as tax/fees which I do understand there are additional fees with hotels but 60%? The room was around $122 and my bill was nearly $200 for a 10 hour stay. Because I was from out of town, it was simply somewhere for me to sleep before my visit to the Cleveland Clinic for doctor appts. So disappointed. I'll find an old Red Roof from now on.

The hotel was clean and appropriately staffed. The staff was friendly and responsive to any questions or needs. The problem I had with my stay was the other guests which played their music loudly all night, talked loudly in the hallway and finally went to bed approximately one 1/2 hours before my alarm went off.

We stayed at TRU hotels before and we really liked it. This location in my opinion was understaffed. Durring breakfest there were overflowing trash cans so you could not dispose of your plates, tables were not wiped after customers. We rented room for four people and had only two towels in the bathroom. There was a mess by the entry door to the hotel with full garbage can and trash on the ground.

The price via Entertainment was very competitive. Room and hotel were very clean. The thermostat worked just fine to get the room to the temp we wanted. I loved that a hot breakfast was included and we could come and go as we needed to. Not my first visit to a TRU hotel. They could not give me a printed receipt though since I booked thru Entertainment. That was my only complaint besides the entry door stuck a little but that was a minor issue.

This is a great new property with an urban feel But the walls are thin so you can hear lots and the staff, while responsive, was not always available. I won't stay there again but it's not bad for the price.

Tru by Hilton offers a clean and modern stay without a lot of stuffy frills at a very affordable price. Breakfast, included, is a very nice assortment that would satisfy most and the hot foods are kept hot but not dry. The rooms have very comfortable beds, in room controlled thermostat, iron and ironing board. The bathrooms offer all the normal amenities but don't expect to take home the extra cute soaps or lotions since they are all offered up in bulk tube like containers hung on the wall that you must squeeze to use. This was a bit of a challenge with an arthritic hand but it still wasn't any worse than squeezing those odd shaped little bottles sometimes offered. There were USP plugs everywhere you looked so bring your cord and start surfing or working while you stay charged. Overall I was very happy with my stay. Every employee I came in contact with was extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel was conveniently located, making it easy to get to various places around Cleveland. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is quiet and clean. We especially appreciated the off street parking and the free breakfasts.

Welcome to the brand new Tru by Hilton Cleveland Midtown. We are the newest property within only three miles of Downtown Cleveland. We are located in the middle of the Euclid Corridor with easy access to University Circle, The Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and much more. We offer guest rooms with one King Bed or Two Queen Beds. We are also local to all of the major highways that surround Cleveland.
