The only good thing I can say is that the bare bones room was clean. A bed, shower, a toilet and a TV. LOUD all night long! For [email protected]?!

We ALWAYS ask for NON Smoking. Had an upstairs room. Could NOT escape the engrained/lingering smoke permeation within the room as well as around the motel area. BAD!

I overpaid for the room online $161 and the motel 6 couldn't give me any discounts or refund even after such a horrible stay. First I was given my key for the second floor room which I was happy to have. And would not have been a problem except I got locked out of my room. I checked in after driving from San Diego with my four year old son around 10pm I had to carry him sleeping with our bags of food, toys, my purse and his two special sleeping blankets up to the room. The key worked and we left our first load of belongings. Then we walked back down, around the building to our car this is not a short walk from the office up the stairs to our room. We got my backpack full of our clothes, his bike that I didn't want to leave in the car in case of theft and our blanket and two pilllows back up the stairs. The key didn't work. Walked back down carrying everything to the office to remagnatize the key. Went back up. didn't work.. went back down.. remagnatized.. didn't work.. went back down still carrying our bedding and my clothes I didn't want to sit if in the dirty ground. My son is asking to go home at this point. We are both exhausted. We have to wait for people to check in so the only hotel operator can come up with us. He did the best he could and was kind. He came up and tried our key and his master key. The room battery was dead. He said he needed to call maintenance in the morning and they would fix it around 6am. I asked not to be woken up since I still had a long drive ahead of me and it was already late at this point. He gave us a room two doors down, but it was hard to sleep being hungry, my sons blankets that he's used to sleep since he was born (he's still talking about this five days later) and my purse with my wallet and cash in the other room. The other problem .. when I called they said the train stops running at 11pm this is a lie it ran at 3:12am and at least one other time before 6am. It blasts its horn and you hear every wheel roll over the rails. My son was excited in the morning you can run out and see it pass.. this train made it hard to sleep. At around 6am I heard metal and things moving around. I thought it might be my room other locked room so I opened the door to see. It was people in the parking lot loading their truck. The windows here are very thin. When we loaded our car a man on the second floor was upstairs smoking a cigarette leaning out to talk to us ?your son just flashed me his booya.. just kidding he didn't.? Then he went on to tell me he lives in this motel because his wife said he touched her and how he would never touch a woman and it was all a mistake but now he lives here and has to wear an ankle monitor. I was so freaked out I put my son in the car on my lap and drove over to the office. They would not give me a refund or discount for this horrible experience. In the morning I watched the hotel operator use a screw driver or specific tool that was used like a screw driver and four batteries and open our room. Luckily nothing was stolen.

Our room was clean, the staff was very friendly. Denny's and Jack in the Box within walking distance. Plenty of room to park our truck and horse trailer.
