"Excellant Staff; Nice Location; Clean; But Double Booking SNAFU."

Facility refurbishment in progress; mild mess. Double booked due to misrepresentation in reservation process. Front desk said it lacked authority to remedy at check in. After many frustrating calls and complaining, credit on credit card has been promised by third party booking system. Keeping fingers crossed. Disappointed that such obvious mess cannot be immediately corrected. Appears that Comfort Inn allows too many businesses to be players in its reservation process and avoids active role in solving messy situations that result.

"wasn’t handicap accessible"

Booked 10 minutes before I arrived there and they wanted to charge me as though I had booked the rooms days in advance. If you're going to advertise a room to be handicap, it should be handicap or someone could get hurt. A few piece of plastic at one end of the tub, doesn't make it safe for someone who is handicapped.

We have just completed expanding our lobby and breakfast area to provide a more relaxing atmosphere. We are a centrally located hotel close to the government facilities of Oak Ridge and 20 minutes from West Knoxville. Within walking distance to 15 restaurants and a Super Walmart. Enjoy our seasonal outdoor pool and a deluxe hot breakfast including eggs, meat, biscuits, gravy, waffles and many other hot and cold items. We have refrigerators and 32" flat screen TV''s in every room. Brand new on site fitness center. Brand new business center with 4 touch screen monitors and multi-function printer. Our friendly staff is eager to assist your group in having a pleasant stay in East Tennessee. Easy and safe walking distance to restaurants and grocery.
