My power went out so the sole purpose of me getting a room for me and my kids was so that we wouldn't have to be in our dark hot apartment, well I was disappointed when I got to my room to see that the air barely worked. They had bottles of opened / used shampoo still on the sink as well. And don't forget the TV with no remote. We would've been better off at a motel 6 at this point. 115$ for rooms that aren't worth it.

The room was unfinished with paint on woodwork from the walls, no remote control for the television available and when presented with possibilities from the front desk,neither of them worked on the TV. We werenever sure if the television even worked. Beds were worn down on the middle sections from such heavy use and needed to be replaced. When we arrived, there was no one behind the desk and she did not arrive for about 15 minutes. She quoted us a price of $60, but we were charged $112. Seems like bait and switched to me. We were so disappointed that we may never try a Microtel again.
