Thin walls, dirty bathrooms, unclean linens, hair dryer not working, phone not working and night staff who don't understand English and cannot respond when noisy nieghbors are a hug problem. Had to turn the air conditioner on which sounded like a jet engine taking off for what remained of the very LONG night.

It was snowing or we would have found another motel. This is a very old motor lodge style motel. It was old and outdated. In desperate need of a total overhaul or bulldozer. Carpets in room had been replaced (badly seamed) but bathrooms were orginal and gross. Not recommended. Sorry HoJos.

Surrounded by the scenic Berkshire Mountains, the completely renovated Howard Johnson Inn of Williamstown offers spacious rooms with several amenities such as Free High Speed Wireless Internet Access, Free Continental Rise and Dine delicious Breakfast, Cable TV with HBO and a beautiful Outdoor Pool with a scenic mountain view. All of our rooms have Microwaves and Refrigerators. We also have a garden picnic area and a long, quiet walking trail at the back of the main building. There is a Computer with Internet Access in the Lobby Area for guest use. Williams College is only one mile away. Restaurants are very nearby. A perfect getaway if your going to Tanglewood.
