My dog died suddenly while we were traveling necessitating am unplanned stop for myself and my other two dogs. I first tried one of the big chain motels that purported to be pet friendly; turns out they weren't. I thought we were going to have to sleep in the car because I was just too exhausted and emotionally wrung out to continue that night. Goodie Search showed me Corbin Inn as being a potentially pet friendly place, so I tried them not really expecting it to work out, but it did. Very clean, very friendly staff, very comfortable and welcoming. If I'm ever that way again and in need of a place to stay, that's where I'll go.
