My tow truck driver kindly dropped me off at approximately three AM at the motel which I had paid for on line. I'd paid for two nights, but missed most of the first night after spending 9 hours on a lonely highway hours away from Medford. I'd accidentally left my Drivers license in my broken down car at the Toyota dealership. The staff refused to accept any of the many alternate forms of ID I offered, including the credit card I'd used to already pay for the room for two nights. I was not even allowed to sit with my luggage in the lobby! Yes, they were following “Policy”, but they were not doing the right thing for a 77 year old woman alone and who had not slept in well over 24 hours. Thank goodness for the kindness of the AAA people who came and got me after the Toyota dealership opened, drove me to get into my car and pick up my license and drove me back to the motel where I could finally rest for one of the two nights I'd paid for. Over all one of the worst experiences with a motel in my life. The room was fine, the staff was absolutely not!
