We always stay at The Carlisle when we are in the area. It is conveniently located to Der Dutchman (next door) and shopping across the street from the restaurant. The staff at The Carlisle are always friendly and welcoming and the hotel is immaculately kept. It is nice to sit outside on the balcony in warmer weather with a cold drink in hand and enjoy the picturesque view(s) of the lovely Amish countryside. We are already planning our next visit to include a show at the Ohio Star Theatre in nearby Sugarcreek and a return visit to The Carlisle.

This was our second trip to Walnut Creek, OH in the past four years and our first stay at the Carlisle Inn at Walnut Creek. We were very happy with our accommodations, service, personnel and snacks. The solar eclipse we viewed from the parking lot of the hotel was an added treat. If we find ourselves in the Walnut Creek, OH area again we will definitely stay with you again.
