Local Attractions

In case you haven't heard, Victoria is a super cool destination with the best bars, restaurants and more things to do than you can ever pack in one trip. (We recommend the Goat Stampede.) Hotel Zed is centrally located between downtown and uptown. It's just a short, free 5 minute drive to downtown in our vintage VW shuttle buses. An experience unto itself and not to be missed!. We are one short block away from the Galloping Goose trail which leads cyclists and pedestrians over the strikingly beautiful Selkirk trestle, crossing the Gorge waterway into downtown Victoria. It's a gorgeous 10 minute bike ride into downtown or a 20 minute walk. Directly across the street is Victoria's Mayfair Shopping Centre, known for its fashion slant and then just 5 blocks north is the brand new outdoor Uptown Shopping Centre with hot stores such as H&M, Forever 21, BCBG and scads of great local stores. Of course you'll want to head to Victoria's downtown where you'll find a wide selection of local boutiques.

I enjoy returning to Friendly Family Hotel Zed. Unique ambience with great staff and affordability. Situated on the Bus Route to go touring the Victoria sights with shopping close by. Great for family get away even for the dog.

Property Description

The first ever Hotel Zed, Hotel Zed Victoria has it all. Just ten minutes from the downtown core, you can catch a ride for free in our vintage VW shuttle vans. Want to explore on your own? We have free bike and longboard rentals. (Kids bikes and tandem bikes, too!) Secretly, we are the people behind Accent Inns (our cousin chain with five hotels in BC) and we had this crazy idea of creating a funky hotel that wasn't pretentious. You know, a place that was super cool and kick ass, but totally down-to-earth. Fun, playful and approachable, that's who we are. Different room types like Zed 2-Beds, Queen for a Night, King for a Night, Sweet Suites, Cottage and ZedStream (a funky private sanctuary in a completely retrofitted vintage Airstream trailer)
