"Was turned away to sleep on the street."

I called the number that showed up on Google when I looked up the hotel and I specifically wanted to stay in a Tru because I like them. The number turned out to be a third party booking number and they told me the hotel would let me check in 18+ (I am 20). My partner and I are driving for three days to get home from college. I was turned away at the door for being under 21 and received no help or offers to call around or anything when I said we had no place to go and would be stuck on the street. Then, they said since I booked through a 3rd party they couldn't even refund me even though I never intended to call a third party. My birthday is in two weeks. I was told we could not be trusted because kids in the college town trash the place. I am literally trying to give yall my money so I can sleep for the night, nothing else. F this place, left me to sleep on the street. Everyone gets punished for some people's bad behavior! In two weeks when I turn 21 and have my whole life to choose hotels my money is never going to you a holes again who don't care if you leave young women to sleep on the street with no place late at night.
