Take a 10 minute stroll down to Carrot Oceanside park to take in indigenous art, walk the boardwalk and keep watch for eagles, ravens, sealions and even orcas. To amplify your experience book a Whale Watching, or Nakwakto Rapids or Cultural tour. Fish off the pier, bring your boat or charter a vessel for the opportunity to catch such species as halibut, trout, coho and steelhead. The area has plenty of freshwater lakes, walking and hiking paths with Cape Scott Provincial Park just north of the hotel. Being that we are surrounded by water and natural wonders its an ideal spot to kayak and scuba dive.
