The Doubletree Suites by Hilton is located near Rt. 73 next to a Corporate office park. Once in the main lobby, small and cozy with a fireplace began my journey through this unique property. GG's Restaurant is right next to the entrance serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Straight ahead from the lobby is the pool enclosed by glass - great to have it opened up in the summer as it overlooks just one of the many courtyard areas. If you hang a right past the front desk in the lobby you will go past the gift shop and fitness center with free weights and cardio machines. All the guest rooms are Suites meaning that there is a separate living room from the bedroom, great for families plus a pull out queen size sofa bed. Some of the newer wing rooms have a little kitchen area. The hotel features PUR rooms that are allergen free with special air filters. Hotel updates include new hallway carpet and vinyl as well as a refresh in the lobby. We took a quick walk outside took us to the meeting space about 6,000 sq. ft. that can be set however you want. A great feature about the space is one ballroom has glass windows with an outdoor seating area plus overlooks a well-manicured courtyard with water features perfect for wedding photos. Catering is available on-site. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler whether on business or leisure especially family reunions, weddings or sports teams.
