As one of our nation's oldest cities, Philadelphia and its port offer much to do as a visitor. Daily port cruises are offered by several companies and cover the port and the Delaware River, of which the port lies on. Both Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line offer cruises out of Philadelphia''s port, though more infrequently than some northeastern cities due to its distance inland. Venturing slightly out of the port into the city offers a journey into the America of the revolution. One can see the fabled Liberty Bell and its infamous crack, Independence Hall the birthplace of America, or the many museums and smaller exhibits throughout the city. A must do while in the city is to take a lunch or dinner at one of the two world famous "Philly Cheesesteak" stands over on South 9th Street.
