-Supply our own water from a well -Recycle all glass bottles-Plastic bottles are limited to one person per room per stay-Single use plastic bags are not used-All food from the local community, packed in woven palm leaves-Food is grown locally, paddock to plate, with a 10km food mile radius-With the exception of milk, cream, chickens-We create our own power, using diesel generators, moving towards solar once we can find the correct battery suitable to the Vanuatu harsh climate-Bikes are used as mode of transport at the resort-Shampoo, conditioner, body wash are produced locally. They are refilled daily into our reusable pump bottles-We launder all our own linen and towels, with a biodegradable soap and line dry in the sun
