I placed my reservation on 3/4/20 for check in on 3/5/20 and check out on 3/7/20. I arrived at three p.m. for check in and noted two other guests waiting. I was told they were short on housekeepers so rooms were not ready. I told the desk clerk I'd return later and did so at 5:30 p.m. A new desk clerk was present and assigned me to room 325. Upon entering the "non smoking room I noticed a strong, stale smoke odor. There was debris on the floor. The beds were made but the pillowcases were dirty with make up smeared on them. The toilet was full of toilet paper and clogged. I called the front desk and asked if maintenance person was available. She stated he wasn't there all the time and asked "Do you just need a plunger or something?" She then asked me to come down to get another room. She switched me to another room which also had a smokey odor, debris on floor, dark smears on the refrigerator and microwave, hair on the sheets and a large brown stain on the mattress. I placed a Shipt order for cleaning supplies and bedding just to have a clean place to rest my head. The Internet also did not work the front desk person said she would call the support team to correct (did not work until the following day). There was no TV remote so I asked for one the same desk clerk said she would get me one (never happened). I then stripped my bed and cleaned the room. I'd finally managed to get to sleep when at one a.m. I heard a loud pounding on my door. A man was yelling "You're not supposed to be in there! Get out!" He then opened my door and shined a flashlight directly in my face. Thankfully I had the extra lock engaged and he wasn't able to come inside. I asked him to identify himself and asked what he wanted. He never identified himself and kept stating "You're not supposed to be in this room. You need to leave." I explained the clerk had moved me to this room due to the initial room being dirty. I told him I had my receipt as well as my room key envelope showing where the desk clerk scratched out the original room and written the new number. I asked him to wait so I could get the items to show him and he said "Sorry, here's what I'm talking about" and showed me a few printed pages with some handwritten notations on them. At this point he still hasn't identified himself as security, I'm half asleep and have no idea if this is just some nutjob rapist trying to get into rooms. I called the front desk to ask why a man was pounding on my door/shining a flashlight in my face and telling me to get out. The clerk kept talking over me saying the previous clerk never told her she switched my room. She kept saying "But I'm telling you you're in room 325; room 315 is dirty!" even when I repeatedly told her my room had been changed. I told her I had my receipt along with my room key envelope where the desk person scratched out the room. She kept repeating herself and then said she was coming upstairs to "take care of it." She never arrived. No apology for the man pounding on my door/shining a flashlight in my face/yelling at me. He also never returned to apologize. I sat up for another hour waiting for that clerk to come up to my room (as she stated she was going to do). I addressed the issue with the morning desk person who stated she would correct it as I still wasn't in the system for room 315. That afternoon I came back and my room key didn't work. I had to go back downstairs twice for a re key until it would work. All in all, this has been the worst stay I've had at a hotel. I'm a former hotel housekeeper/janitor so I can certainly relate to the world of hotels. However, the lack of basic hygiene and customer service at this location is disgusting and I will never stay at another Red Roof property nor will I recommend it to others. Unless you enjoy this type of service,random strung out looking people wandering the halls talking about drug use/getting evicted/the smell of weed wafting into your room please avoid this property at all costs. I paid for two nights but left the following day. Please do not get a room here thinking you or your family will have a clean room or be safe.

My title says it all, people staying in terrible conditions, I will never revisit a place this deployable again. The owners don't take care of the property and poeple are left in filthy rooms. This is what Horror movies are made of. I left early because of the filth and bugs,as far as I know I filled a credit card dispute with my credit card company.if the heath department knew how bad it was they would close this place down and condemn the building, thank God I'm gone and will never return. Overall a very unsafe environment, not family friendly and lacking ice, coffee, etc., old and worn furniture, dirty shower and broken old tube TV. Horrible sleeping experience.
