The Candlewood Suites is a great hotel option if you are looking for a long term hotel at a great value. They are centrally located in Huntersville on Exit 25 off of I 77, just 15 minutes north of Charlotte. There are several great restaurants within walking distance to the hotel including Outback Steakhouse, Bob Evans, Kabuto and LaUnica. The lobby area is small, however, offers a computer for customer use and has a secured entrance. There is plenty of parking and they have a great little outdoor area with a grill. Off of the lobby is a vending area, laundry room and an exercise room with a variety of equipment. All rooms toured were very clean and in good maintenance order. Each room has a fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator and microwave. Between the kitchen and living area is a large work/eating table. The hotel recently completed a soft goods renovation and all linens are new and fresh. The majority of the hotel is non smoking, but they do have a few smoking rooms. The hotel offers standard suites and one bedroom suites, however and offers one bed per room. Overall, this is a great hotel for those wanting an affordable home away from home and I highly recommend this hotel!
