I absolutely love staying at The Maverick! I found this hotel almost three years ago when I drove from Carbondale to GJ to have my dog seen by an emergency Vet. She had surgery around midnight and I picked her up around three am went to my room and slept great for about 6 hours. The night staff was so accommodating and I loved that so much I stay at THE MAVERICK every time I have a super early departure/late arrival into GJ! It had been a while since my last visit and while I was sad to see that the popcorn 🍿 stand was gone, but the service is still TOP NOTCH!

Property Description

The Hotel Maverick located in Grand Junction on the Colorado Mesa University Campus is representative of what it means to be a Maverick and live outside the ordinary with unique guest rooms a gourmet coffee shop and an on-site upscale farm to table restaurant. Hotel Maverick is what we call an upscale boutique teaching hotel that gives the students of CMU the opportunity to learn and provide excellent customer service not just for those working front desk but for culinary and event students as well. Guests and the community of Grand Junction alike will have access to not only high-quality coffee and tasty breakfast food and treats but they will also have access to Devils Kitchen where they can enjoy the beautiful views of the Grand Mesa and the Colorado National Monument.
